Side Effects and Directions

While both hypoallergenic and nearly fragrance-free, the powerful acne fighting medications of benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid can still cause irritation in users with varying degrees of sensitive skin. If this occurs, simply reduce the amounts of each medication you use on your skin at the start of your treatment (allowing the skin time to adjust).

The medications in Exposed Skin Care’s kit are FDA-approved over-the-counter treatments for acne, but certain circumstances should still use physician consultation. If pregnant or nursing, consult with your doctor before using Exposed Skin Care’s acne-treating products.

se all elements of the Exposed Skin Care kit twice daily, once in the morning and once before going to bed.

In-Depth Review

The benefit of a kit like the Exposed Skin Care trial kit is that it is designed to encompass the entirety of an acne treatment. It starts with a facial cleanser that removes surface dirt and oil to allow the other medications to penetrate deep into the tissue. Following the cleanser, a salicylic-based tonic helps promote exfoliation in the skin to remove dead skin and other pore-clogging contaminants, while nourishing the skin to aid in repair.

An acne fighting serum delivers the antibacterial power of benzoyl peroxide to penetrate deep into the pores where blemish-causing bacteria grow. Eliminating the bacteria is a key stage in not only treating existing breakouts on the skin, but preventing subsequent blemishes.

Finally, the Clear Pore Serum uses a second application of salicylic acid to continue the exfoliation process while providing regenerative properties to the skin overnight, helping the skin heal itself while maintaining healthy nutrient levels in the tissue to help it protect itself.

As an all-inclusive acne treatment, the Exposed Skin Care system addresses nearly every level of acne-causing issues found in the skin.  An example of what it does not address is the elevated sebum levels found in acne suffers, caused by the overproduction of certain hormones (like those seen in teens going through puberty).

If excessive sebum isn’t an issue for you, the Exposed Skin Care trial kit should provide effective treatment and prevention of acne breakouts.
