Featured Ingredients

Russian Amber contains a high amount of Panthenol, or Vitamin B, coupled with Phytantriol. These ingredients work to inject moisture into the hair. A blend of chamomile, grape seed, rosemary, nettle, burdock and sage is also included in the product.

This blend of ingredients adds emollients to the hair to create shine and increase moisture. A combination of silk, wheat and soy proteins work to protect the hair.

This blend protects the hair by increasing both the elasticity and the strength of the hair. Shea butter adds even more hydration to the hair. Best of all, shea butter adds no extra weight to the hair that decreases volume.

Side Effects and Directions

To use Russian Amber, wet hair and massage a small amount of the product into your scalp with your fingertips. Leave the shampoo on for one to three minutes, then work the lather down to the ends of your hair. Rinse well and repeat if desired.

Although Russian Amber has been reported by many of its users to be effective, some who have used the product have noted that it seems difficult to lather and cleanse the hair with the product. Also, as with many hair care products, overuse of this product can lead to hair breakage.

In-Depth Review

Amber Russian Imperial Shampoo is a thick shampoo that can be used to provide hydration and shine to hair. It works by sitting on the hair for a period of time so the hair can absorb its moisturizing ingredients. This product is set apart by its thick texture, which is said by the product manufacturer to be due to the fact that the product contains a Russian-inspired blend of luxurious ingredients used to repair and moisturize the hair.

This product is similar to many other products because it contains moisturizing ingredients that are typical in hair care products like shea butter and emollients. Although this product is marketed as a high end product and sold for $75.95, it doesn’t seem to contain any unusual ingredients that can’t be found in other shampoos.

Overall, this product seems to be effective for most people when used to moisturize hair and restore a healthy condition to over-processed hair. However, given the fact that its ingredients are very similar to other less expensive products, it may not be worth the money. One less expensive alternative which is equally effective is H2 Thermal, which is sold for $29.99. You can get other information on similar products by checking out our product chart.
