Featured Ingredients

Deionized Water is water that is processed to remove impurities and give Crema a moisture rich texture.

Lauryl Alcohol helps to add moisture to the hair and also changes how water interacts with the product, allowing the conditioner to glide easily onto the hair.

Hydrogenated Tallow Glycerides deeply condition the hair and add moisture to the hair cuticle.

Triethanolamine interacts with other ingredients to control the pH level of the conditioner. It is the ingredient that would alter the pH balance of the hair to allow for absorption into the cuticle.

Side Effects and Directions

After shampooing, you should apply a small amount of Crema to your damp hair. Leave the product on for one or two minutes and then rinse well. For deeper conditioning, you can leave the product on for up to 15 minutes before rinsing. Crema can be used on a daily basis after you shampoo.

Many users of Crema have reported some negative side effects upon use the product. Many of those who have tried Crema report a foul odor upon use. The smell is reported to go away after rinsing the product out, but it's very oppressive when applied to the hair. Since this product includes many heavy emollients and thick moisturizers, it can weigh down the hair, particularly if you have very fine or thin locks.

In-Depth Review

This product is an easy to use daily conditioner. It works by allowing the hair cuticle to absorb a variety of thick emollients and moisturizers. The manufacturers claim that absorption occurs through an alteration of the hair's pH level. Although the manufacturer does not explain how his alteration works, the product has been reported by most users to be successful in moisturizing and conditioning the hair.

This product is different from others because it has been around for a long time. Many people in the beauty and hair industries refer to it as a "cult classic." With a long standing reputation, this product has a longer history of success than many similar products.

Although Crema is an effective conditioner, it may not be suitable for everyone. Recently, the product was reformulated and many customer reviews report that the reformulated product is less effective than the original.

Other possible drawbacks from using this product include an unpleasant smell upon application and weighing down hair, particularly for those with fine hair. For more reviews of hair treatments, please refer to our product review chart.
