Side Effects and Directions

To avoid irritation, do not apply to your lower eyelid lash line or directly to eyelashes.

Apply LiLash once daily, either in the morning before applying eye makeup or at night before bed. Wash and dry your skin thoroughly before applying. Remove the applicator from the LiLash tube and wipe away excess product. Apply along your upper lash line, starting at the inner corner and working out towards the outer corner in a single stroke.

In-Depth Review

Often listed as one of the most popular eyelash enhancers in the world, LiLash Eyelash Serum can help you obtain the thicker, fuller, stronger eyelashes you’ve always wanted. Although LiLash was formulated by physicians, but doesn't require a prescription.

Judging from user reviews online, the product seems to make good on the promise that it will help you grow longer lashes. Some customers did experience mild to moderate irritation, but many felt that the benefits were worth the risk. Other less common side effects included spontaneous cheek hair growth, dark circles, changes in eye pigmentation, and a darkening of the upper eyelid skin.

The active ingredient in LiLash is a prostaglandin analogue, which was originally used to treat glaucoma until it was discovered that it also enhanced eyelash growth. Many eyelash enhancing products which include this ingredient in their formula either require a prescription and close doctor supervision for use or have been pulled from the market due to safety concerns.

While LiLash may be a little more reliable at growing your eyelashes than other over-the-counter beauty products, its controversial ingredient and large price tag may give some people pause. But before you make a final decision, take a look at our Eyelash Reviews Section to see how LiLash compares with other eyelash enhancement products.
