Featured Ingredients

Matrixyl 3000 – This peptide, is one of the most effective anti-wrinkle ingredients since the discovery of Retinol. It penetrates deep into the skin to generate collagen and elastin production on a cellular level. Some doubts have been raised about its true level of effectiveness, though. In-Depth Review

Dermajuv, which is now known by the brand name Dermagist, manufacturers a product called Original Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. While this product is most likely not the first wrinkle smoothing product, it does work according to its name. The main ingredient, Matrixyl 3000, has been shown in lab tests to encourage the renewal of elastin and collagen to firm and tone sagging, wrinkled skin, although these tests did not occur in an independent environment.

When it comes to the formula itself, Matrixyl is in fact a high-quality ingredient which has stood up to clinical scrutiny in several scientific studies (although these were not carried out in an independent environment); however, there are no such studies for the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream. It is unclear whether the other ingredients in this formula will help the Matrixyl achieve its full potential.

Overall, the Dermajuv Original Wrinkle Smoothing Cream has a popular main ingredient and some positive reviews on its side. If you want to see how Dermajuv compares to similar wrinkle creams, check out our Product Comparison chart!
