Side Effects and Directions

Stearic Acid, which is included in this product, has been linked to cancer and neurotoxicity in animal studies. Side effects from Epidermal Growth Factor Cream are generally mild and infrequent. Some younger customers report problems with acne blemishes after using EGF Cream. Because the ingredients list is so long and varied, it is impossible to say whether or not it will cause skin irritation. The safest thing to do is test the formula on a small patch of skin prior to use to check for sensitivity. If irritation occurs, then stop use immediately.

To use, massage Epidermal Growth Factor Cream into skin until fully absorbed. Continue use once daily until you experience desired results.

In-Depth Review

DHC Skincare is a Japan-based company which specializes in beauty products designed to enhance the look and feel of your skin. Their Epidermal Growth Factor utilizes a combination of moisturizers, peptides and antioxidants to give mature skin a more youthful appearance.

There are a few key ingredients in the product that may be familiar because they are featured in many of today’s popular skincare products. There are potent moisturizers such as Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter, peptides like Palmitoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 (these peptides make up the “Epidermal Growth Factor” that is in the product’s name), and many plant-derived  ingredients such as olive oil extract and palm oil extract.

Some other ingredients within the ingredients list might delight some customers, while alienating others. EGF Cream has a laundry-list of naturally-derived components, most of which are healthy and safe for daily use; however, this is not true for all of the product’s ingredients. The fact that EGF Cream includes placental proteins, which are extracted from the tissue of animals, will be undoubtedly controversial to some consumers. This is especially true if you consider that there is little research to back the use of placental proteins.

EGF Cream may help your skin fight wrinkles, but do you know how it ranks when compared with other anti-wrinkle products?
