Featured Ingredients

Silk Therapy is infused with silk, which contains 17 of the 19 amino acids found in hair. The product manufacturer claims that the silk strengthens and repairs the hair, adds moisture and replenishes the hair. Cyclomethicone is included in Silk Therapy. This ingredient is commonly used in hair treatment products to create glossy shine. Silk Therapy also includes dimethicone, a group of polymeric organosilicon compounds commonly known as silicones. Dimethicone is another ingredient used to create shine in many hair treatment products.

Side Effects and Directions

To use Silk Therapy, place a small amount of the product in your palms and work the product through your hair from the scalp to the ends. You can use the product on either wet or dry hair or your scalp. Silk Therapy can be used as often as needed.

A number of side effects have been reported by people who tried Silk Therapy. Since this is a leave in treatment, some users have reported that Silk Therapy made their hair look too greasy or oily and had to be washed out. This product may also weigh down hair that is fine or thin since it is left on the hair.

In-Depth Review

Silk Therapy is a product that can be applied quickly and easily. Since you can leave it in your hair, you don’t have to sit around and wait for it to work or worry about rinsing it out. The product has been reported to be very effective by a majority of users, and it offers results that are noticeable immediately upon use. This product is different from many other products on the market because it is infused with silk. Many other products use ingredients like heavy emollients or moisturizers which coat the hair for a certain period of time and then are rinsed off.

This product contains two ingredients to create a glossy shine which are commonly used in the hair industry. Although these ingredients are known to be effective in creating a glossy shine, this benefit can be found in many other products.

Although this product has been said to be effective by many users, it may not be suitable for everyone. As a leave in treatment, it is possible that this product will create a greasy or oil effect for some users, and those with fine hair may find that this product weighs down their hair.
